The Parish of St. Keverne is committed to celebrating together life`s joys, and to bearing one another`s burdens and sorrows, whether people attend our churches or not, whether of faith or not.
The Pastoral Care Team are not acting as professional counsellors, but are volunteers trained by the church to offer a listening ear, and where needed, to suggest others who may offer more professional help.
Pastoral care is helping individuals and groups within the church and local community, at specific points of need in their lives, by giving support, by listening, by guiding and by seeking to establish and restore relationships.
This care and help is rooted in the principles and values of the Christian faith.
