In July 2008, the PCC on behalf of the Parish made the decision to change the system of outward giving. It is hoped that this new method will give us all an increased opportunity for a more spiritual and meaningful approach to our response to God and to the world, for his generosity to us.
The PCC has adopted the principle of giving away 10% total annual general church income. This would not include income given for specific purposes, i.e. Development Funds. The Parish Treasurer will identify the total to be given away when the Final Accounts are presented each year, so that the total can be divided by 12 and paid monthly for the following year.
The PCC has agreed to divide the 10% income equally supporting 7 missions/charities on a monthly basis through standing orders, beginning August 2008. The charities recommended this year are the following:

Each of these charities receives £61.48 per month via standing order.
The annual Christingle Service, British Legion Service and St. Peter`s Church Carol Service collections remain outside this scheme and are as they have been in the past.
