These pages contain some short stories for adults, which may be printed off if desired. They are about relationship issues and are linked in that they have a common set of characters who live in a small coastal village. Though each story follows its predecessor, sometimes with a bit of overlap, each is complete in itself.
The main characters are:-
| George
Vicar of St. Luke's.
| Julia
His wife, prone to saying something unexpected.
| Rosemary
A former missionary nurse who has been ordained and is now retired. Fairly new to the village.
| Peter
Rosemary's fiancé later husband, fairly new to the village and recently a widower.
| Helen
Rosemary's widowed daughter, who has lived in the village several years.
| Paul
Helen's fiancé, a fairly long term villager.
| Ben
Paul's son, at university.
| Charlotte
Paul's daughter, in last year at school and the same age as Cheryl.
| Cheryl
Helen's daughter, Charlotte's great friend and Ben's girl.
| Richard
Charlotte's boy friend, just starting at university.

Some people may think it inappropriate to mix Christian background with some of the events that take place in these stories. However remember that we are all fallible and subject to the same passions and urges as non believers, and sometimes we can take a too puritanical view of relationships. Remember we have a forgiving God.
Tales from a Village.
The characters and places mentioned in these stories are entirely fictional, any similarity with a real person is completely unintended.
The page count given below the button is the number of pages taken up in my word processor. The page division is almost invisible in the text here, but does affect the arrows in the left margin.
